Peter Jordan, P.E. has been part owner of a Houston, TX based Consulting Engineering & Planning firm for over 40 years. Now, semi-retired and work partime with another engineering firm.
Peter Jordan has 48 years of experience in engineering design and planning for transportation projects. Mr. Jordan has served as Principal‑in‑Charge or Project Manager for transportation and utility projects up to $25 million in construction cost. He has experience in planning, design, cost estimating, scheduling and construction management for highway, aviation and water and wastewater projects. He designs and supervises engineering design projects for public and private clients.
Mr. Jordan has extensive experience in roadway design from minor intersections to complex freeways. His roadway experience includes designing expansions of major thoroughfares in the Houston area, and designs of new freeways and toll roads throughout Texas. He has designed large water mains for the City of Houston and water distribution systems for subdivisions such as Fondren Southwest, Briargate, Kingwood and Copperfield.
Mr. Jordan has also designed wastewater facilities from collector sewers to major interceptors. He designed the Lake Houston Parkway trunk sanitary sewer serving Kingwood and inverted sanitary sewer siphons for Northwest Crossing and Copperfield in northwest Houston. He also designed wastewater collector lines in subdivisions served by the City of Houston's Northside Wastewater Treatment Plant.
